Nembhard, Canada Suffer First Loss at GLOBL Jam

Creighton guard Ryan Nemhard and Canada’s U23 national team dropped a 79-72 decision to Italy last night at GLOBL Jam.
Nembhard scored four points, grabbed one rebound and dished out four assists in just over 18-and-a-half minutes last night. Canada, Italy and Brazil all went 2-1 in the round-robin phase of the tournament in Toronto, but Canada was first by virtue of a tiebreaker.
The men’s semifinals are set for tomorrow, with the championship on Sunday.
