Nebraska Volleyball Fans: Play Hooky or Listen to KJSK Today

Nebraska’s top-ranked volleyball team hosts an NCAA Regional for the first time since 2016 today. 

The Huskers welcome No. 12 Georgia Tech to the Devaney Sports Center for a 1 p.m. match.  Nebraska coach John Cook tried to avoid criticizing the NCAA for the early start time during a press conference yesterday.  But, after a couple “no comments” and once sarcastically saying “we’re just happy to be playing,” Cook was asked how he’d fix it. 

“Do what basketball does,” Cook said. “Spread it over two days.  Should be a no-brainer.  Why not?”

Creighton volleyball’s Sweet 16 match against Louisville has an 11 a.m. first serve.  The Huskers and Bluejays matches will both be televised on ESPN2.
