Nebraska No. 2, Creighton 12th in AVCA Preseason Poll

Nebraska volleyball is ranked No. 2, while Creighton is 12th in the AVCA coaches preseason poll. 

The Huskers are ranked second only to Texas, the team that beat NU in last year’s national championship match.  Nebraska received 1,474 votes, only 29 votes fewer than the Longhorns.  Texas had 46 first-place votes with the Huskers getting the other 15. 

The Bluejays’ No. 12 ranking is three spots higher than where they finished last season.  It’s the second-best preseason ranking in CU history, trailing only its No. 9 selection prior to the 2017 campaign.
