Nebraska Golf Hall of Famer Hyland Passes Away

A Lincoln woman who is in the Nebraska Golf Hall of Fame has passed away.

Both of the state’s largest newspapers report that Jean Hyland died on April 7th.  She was 97.

Hyland won five women’s state match-play titles, three seniors championships and 19 Lincoln city crowns. She was induced into the state’s golf hall of fame in 1992.
