Nebraska Football’s Staff, Roster Continue to Evolve
The Nebraska football team’s staff and roster continued to evolve over the weekend.
According to several media reports, the Huskers special teams coordinator Ed Foley will be dismissed from that role, although he could remain in the program in another job.
Tight end Thomas Fidone announced in a social media post that he’s moving on from Lincoln, although it’s not known if he’ll enter the transfer portal or declare for the NFL draft.
Nebraska’s defense has two new players via the portal. One is Georgia Southern linebacker Marques Watson-Trent, who was named Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Year last season. Cornerback Jamir Conn of Southern Illinois committed to NU last night.
