Nebraska Football Hosts No. 17 Illinois on Saturday

The Nebraska football team will host 17th-ranked Illinois on Saturday.

The Huskers, who are coming off a bye week, bring a 3-4 season record and a 2-2 Big Ten mark into the game.  The Fighting Illini, who also had an open date last Saturday, are 6-1 on the season and 3-1 in conference play.

The NU defense will have to slow down Illinois running back Chase Brown.  Brown was the first FBS player to go over 1,000 yards rushing this season.  He’s only the third player in Illinois history to hit the milestone in back-to-back seasons.

Saturday’s kickoff is at 2:30 p.m.  The pregame starts at 10:30 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK.  It will be joined at 2 p.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.
