Nebraska Crop Progress and Condition Report

LINCOLN, Neb. January 3, 2022 – For the week ending January 2, 2022, topsoil moisture
supplies rated 21% very short, 47% short, 31% adequate, and 1% surplus, according to the
USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 19% very short,
49% short, 32% adequate, and 0% surplus.

Field Crops Report: Winter wheat condition rated 8% very poor, 11% poor, 42% fair,
37% good, and 2% excellent.

The next report will be issued January 24, 2022.
