Nebraska, Creighton Women Drop Conference Tourney Tilts

In women’s college basketball, both Nebraska and Creighton dropped out of their conference tournaments with losses on Saturday. 

The Huskers fell to Iowa 83-66 as the Hawkeyes’ Caitlin Clark scored 41 points in a Big Ten tourney semifinal.  The Bluejays were edged by Seton Hall 66-65 in a Big East quarterfinal. 

NU is 24-8, while CU is 20-9.  Both teams will wait for the NCAA women’s tournament bracket to be released this Sunday.  It will be unveiled during the Selection Show starting at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
