Nebraska Baseball’s Late Rally at Omaha Comes Up Short

Nebraska baseball rallied late but fell to Omaha 6-5 last night.
The Huskers trailed 6-1 heading into the eighth inning when they scored four runs to pull within a run. NU loaded the bases with one out in the ninth but couldn’t plate the tying run. With the loss, Nebraska slipped to 12-15. The Mavericks upped their record to 12-14.
The Huskers return to conference action tomorrow night, when they open a three-game home series against Rutgers.
