Multiple People Released From UNMC Quarantine Unit

OMAHA- Local, state and federal officials held an event Monday to mark the beginning of departures for several people being monitored for the coronavirus in the National Quarantine Unit.

The Department of Health and Human Services says Nebraskans can help protect themselves by washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands, avoid close contact with sick people and stay home if you are sick, cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, clean and disinfect frequently.
