Morningside Football Wins Third NAIA Title in Four Years

Morningside football won its third NAIA title in four years as the Mustangs beat Grand View 38-28 Saturday night. 

Reid Jurgensmeier, a senior from Bishop Neumann, had 13 receptions for 216 yards including a 34-yard TD catch that snapped a 28-all tie. 

Morningside went 14-0 in the senior season for Scotus grad Matt Strecker, whose proud dad, Don, is a sportscaster and salesperson here at Alpha Media radio.
