Nebraska’s home football game against Southeastern Louisiana could be moved up from November 13th to September 4th.
NU athletic director Bill Moos said during “Sports Nightly” on News Talk 900 KJSK last night the Huskers would like to play that game earlier in the fall. Moos noted there would be benefits to recruiting and for fans to have the game played in September when the weather is better.
Nebraska currently has a bye week following the Huskers’ August 28th season opener at Illinois, a game that was originally to be played in Dublin, Ireland.
