Max Anderson, a star baseball player at Millard West, will wind up playing baseball for Nebraska next season.

The infielder had committed to Texas A&M almost two years ago.  But, Anderson announced on social media last night that he’s committing to the Huskers.  The move reportedly was made because this year’s shortened MLB Draft created a roster crunch at Texas A&M.

In 2019, Anderson helped Millard West win its first Class A state championship.  He hit .353 with ten home runs and was named co-captain of the All-Nebraska team.
