Mickey Joseph No Longer Employed by Nebraska

Former Nebraska interim football coach Mickey Joseph is no longer with the Huskers.

A spokesman for the athletic department told the Associated Press yesterday that Joseph is no longer part of the football program or an employee of the university.  According to reports, Joseph’s separation date was December 6th.

Initially, he was placed on administrative leave after a November 30th arrest for an alleged domestic dispute.  Joseph faces a felony count of assault after allegedly putting his hands around his wife’s throat, pulling her hair and punching her.  He has denied the assault to police.

His next court appearance is January 30th.
