Men’s Roundball Falls in 2-OT, Women Win in OT

The Nebraska men’s basketball team was edged by Southern Utah 79-78 in double overtime on Saturday. 

Husker guard Cam Mack had 13 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds. And freshman forward Kevin Cross came off NU’s bench to score a team-high 19 points, while adding five rebounds.  

The Huskers will host South Dakota State Friday at 8 p.m.  The pre-game starts just after 7 on KJSK.  

Meanwhile, the Nebraska women’s basketball club won 90-85 in overtime yesterday at Missouri. 

Sam Haiby scored a career-high 28 points for the Huskers. NU is off to a 2-0 start. 

The Nebraska women welcome Morgan State to Pinnacle Bank Arena on Thursday night.
