Men’s Hoops Edged Twice, Women Suffer Two Blowout Losses

The CCC men’s basketball squad suffered a pair of close losses this weekend in Mason City, Iowa. 

The Raiders fell to North Iowa Area CC 81-79 Friday night, then were edged by Iowa Lakes CC 76-75 on Saturday.  In Saturday’s game, Central’s Frank Keller had a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds, but the Raiders slipped to 4-5. 

The CCC women fell to the same two opponents in blowout defeats, losing 105-59 and 84-57. The Raiders have lost six straight and are 1-9. 

Both teams visit McCook CC Tuesday evening.
