Mendez Makes Consolation Finals at State Swim Meet

No Columbus High swimmer finished in the final eight to earn a medal at the state tournament at the Devaney Center.
But Discoverers senior Josue Mendez was 12th in Friday’s 100-yard breaststroke preliminaries.
That put Mendez into Saturday’s consolation finals, where he placed 15th.
