Quarterback Adrian Martinez will transfer from Nebraska, while a former Husker QB is reportedly close to rejoining NU as a coach.
Martinez announced on social media that he’s putting his name into the transfer portal. The four-year starter and three-year captain played through injuries this season to set a Nebraska career record for total offense. He also struggled with turnovers and went 15-23 as a starter.
Meanwhile, Mickey Joseph is reportedly finalizing a deal to become Nebraska’s receivers coach. The former Husker has spent the past five years on LSU’s coaching staff. He is regarded as a top recruiter.
