Bragging rights and a Maroon Cup title for this year are on the line today when Columbus and Norfolk meet in boys’ golf.
Jon Misfeldt in the CHS athletic office says the Maroon Cup points are dead even for the Discoverers and Panthers. The two school’s golf teams, along with Fremont, are squaring off today in a triangular at the Norfolk Country Club.
In other prep sports action today, Columbus hosts Norris in baseball and the Discoverers boys soccer club entertains Lincoln Southwest. Lakeview’s soccer squads visit Aurora. Also in soccer, the Scotus’ boys host Blair while the Shamrocks girls play at Blair this evening.
