Markowski, Weidner Lead NU Women to Win

Alexis Markowski and Allison Weidner both produced double-doubles, leading Nebraska to a 71-46 victory over Samford on Saturday night. 

Markowski put up game highs of 16 points and 15 rebounds.  Weidner added 15 points and 11 boards.  The guard from Humphrey also had a game-high five steals to help Nebraska improve to 8-3 on the season. 

Meanwhile, Morgan Maly scored a career-high 24 points Saturday, leading the Creighton women to a 75-71 win over Drake.  The win pushed the Bluejays to 8-1 on the season.
