Markowski Nabs Freshman Honor For Third Time

Nebraska’s Alexis Markowski was named the Big Ten women’s basketball freshman of the week yesterday.
It was the third time she has won the honor. Markowski averaged 17 points and 7.5 rebounds per game last week.
For the season, she’s averaging 9.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest.
