One of the Nebraska football team’s top recruits for next season has graduated earlier than expected from a junior college.

One of receiver Omar Manning’s coaches at Kilgore College in Texas announced last night on Twitter that Manning has completed his coursework.

Once Manning’s official transcript is sent to NU and approved, he’ll be able to join the Huskers. Nebraska players just started voluntary workouts yesterday.

Manning, who wasn’t expected to graduate from junior college until this summer, was ranked as the number 2 Juco prospect in the nation by 247Sports.
