Huskers guard Cam Mack announced on social media yesterday that he’ll transfer from Nebraska.
In his announcement, Mack said he’s entering the transfer portal due to “family circumstances.” His mother is battling breast cancer. The post added that Mack will keep his name in the NBA draft.
In his only season at NU, the sophomore averaged 12.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game. Mack also recorded the first triple-double in Nebraska history on December 15th, when he had 11 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists in the Huskers’ 70-56 win over Purdue.
