Luke Kluver In Finals of Nebraska Match Play Championship

Luke Kluver of Norfolk is facing Ryan Nietfeldt of Grand Island in today’s 36-hole finals of the 53rd annual Nebraska Match Play Championship. The tournament is being played at Hillcrest Country Club in Lincoln.

In yesterday’s quarterfinals, Kluver needed 20 holes to defeat Travis Minzel of Lincoln.  Kluver, who will be a sophomore at Kansas this fall, beat defending champion Caleb Badura of Aurora 2-up in yesterday’s semifinals.

In his prep career at Norfolk High, Kluver won three state titles.
