Lubick Says Running Back Rotation Keeps All Fresh
The Nebraska football team is preparing for a road game at Purdue this Saturday. It’s not known if running back Dedrick Mills will return from a reported knee injury that has kept him out of the past two games.
Huskers offensive coordinator Matt Lubick was asked about the challenge of rotating a stable of young running backs into recent games. He said that rotation keeps them all fresh.
“It’s a tribute to our running back room that we have some capable guys that can all go in there and play,” Lubick said.
Saturday’s kickoff is set for 11 a.m. The pre-game starts at 6 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK and will be joined at 10:30 on 93.5 The Hawk.
