Lubick Says Huskers Have Confidence in Martinez

As the Nebraska football team prepares to host sixth-ranked Ohio State on Saturday, quarterback Adrian Martinez looks to rebound after a rough performance in last week’s loss to Purdue.
Huskers offensive coordinator Matt Lubick told reporters after yesterday’s practice that the team has a lot of confidence in Martinez. Lubick said it’s really unfair that when a team is losing the quarterback takes a lot of the blame. In discussing Ohio State’s defense, Lubick said the Buckeyes can create a lot of negative plays and pointed out the defense has scored six touchdowns.
Saturday’s kickoff is set for 11 a.m. NU is planning to salute all veterans and active-duty military personnel in attendance. The pregame begins at 7 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK. It will be joined at 10:30 a.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.
