Lubick on Spartans Defense, NU’s Offensive Penalties

Nebraska’s football team continues to get ready for its game at Michigan State on Saturday night. Huskers offensive coordinator Matt Lubick says the Spartans have “one of the better defenses in the country.”

Lubick was asked yesterday about offensive penalties, which hurt NU in the loss at Oklahoma.  He said that issue is talked about every day and Nebraska has officials “out there (at practices) all the time.”  He added players who commit penalties at practice are subbed for “to make sure they understand there are consequences.”

Saturday’s kickoff is set for 6 p.m. and the action will be broadcast on News Talk 900 KJSK and 93.5 The Hawk.
