All four local American Legion Baseball teams posted wins on the road last night. 

The Cornerstone Insurance Group Columbus Seniors edged Kearney 4-3.  The victory upped Cornerstone’s record to 3-3.  Meanwhile, the Columbus United Federal Credit Union Junior Blues won 8-0, improving to 2-5 on the season. 

Three pitchers combined on a five-inning perfect game as the Bank of the Valley Lakeview Seniors beat Wisner-Pilger-Howells-Dodge 9-0.  Cooper Tessendorf and Jordan Kracl each retired all six batters they faced and Ian Gibbs set down three hitters as the Seniors improved to 4-0.  The Owens Wealth Advisors Lakeview Junior Reds romped 16-2 in five innings.  Turner Halverson allowed two unearned runs on one hit and three walks, striking out six in a complete game.  The Junior Reds are 3-1.
