Lincoln Coach Hitchcock Heads North by Northwest to CHS

Jordan Hitchcock has been hired as boys’ basketball coach at Columbus High School. Hitchcock replaces Jimmy Motz who resigned recently after five years to take the same position at Norris High.
Hitchcock began his coaching career at the University of Nebraska as a graduate assistant manager.
In 2016, he was named head coach of the Parkview Christian boys’ basketball team. That season the Patriots went 21-5 and made the Class D2 boys state basketball tournament. The Lincoln club went 13-10 the next season.
Hitchcock joined Lincoln Northeast in 2018 as the boys’ JV coach and lead varsity assistant.
“We had a quality candidate pool, and to have Coach Hitchcock emerge as our next head coach is a testament to the vision he has to continue to build our program,” CHS Activities Director Tim Kwapnioski said.
