Lawrence Named Big Ten Freshman of the Week

Nebraska guard Jamarques Lawrence has been named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week.
Lawrence averaged 15 points on 63 percent shooting in two games last week. The 6-foot-3 New Jersey native also averaged 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.
The Huskers will take on Minnesota tomorrow in the opening round of the Big Ten Tournament. Tipoff is set for around 8 p.m. The pregame starts at 6:30 on News Talk 900 KJSK.
