Lasso, Loontjer Post One Win For Columbus at State Tennis

Columbus High’s #2 doubles team of Sarah Lasso and Taylor Loontjer posted a first-round win in yesterday’s girls state tennis tournament in Omaha.
The duo defeated North Platte’s team 4-6, 6-3, 10-5. In the second round, Lasso and Loontjer fell to Lincoln North Star 4-6, 2-6.
The Discoverers suffered first-round losses in #1 and #2 singles and #1 doubles.
