Lasso Fires 74, Earns Second at HAC Golf Tourney

Columbus High’s Sarah Lasso fired a 2-over par 74 yesterday at Norfolk Country Club to earn second place at the Heartland Athletic Conference Tournament.
Lasso’s score, a personal record, was just one stroke behind the gold medal winner Nicole Kolbas of Lincoln Pius. Jacey Hughes of Columbus shot an 87, finishing in 16th and missing a medal by just two strokes.
As a team, the Discoverers carded a 368 to finish fifth out of nine clubs. Lincoln Southwest won the team title at 315.
