Both of Lakeview’s American Legion baseball teams posted impressive wins at Tekamah-Herman last night. 

The Bank of the Valley Seniors won 10-1.  Jacob Sjuts tossed a six-inning complete game.  He allowed one run on four hits, walking one and striking out ten batters.  Turner Halvorsen had three hits and was a home run shy of a cycle, scoring three runs and knocking one in.  Brenden Sloup had four RBI and Sam Kwapnioski scored three runs as Lakeview improved to 4-0. 

Meanwhile, the Owens Wealth Advisors Lakeview Junior Reds won 12-0.  Landon Ternus pitched all five scoreless innings, giving up just one hit.  He walked five and fanned ten.  He also had three hits, including a triple and three RBI.  The Junior Reds have won four straight and are 4-1.
