Lakeview Wrestling & Bowling, CHS Swimming Results

In local prep sports on Thursday, Lakeview’s wrestling team recorded a 72-9 home win over Twin River, with the Titans forfeiting most of the matches. 

Of the four matches decided on the mats, the Vikings had two wins, both by pins.  Twin River won twice,  via one pin and one decision. 

Lakeview’s bowling clubs split against Boone Central.  The Vikings boys won 18.5 to 2.5, while the Cardinals girls won 14-7. 

And Columbus High’s boys and girls swimmers both took second in a home triangular with Lincoln Northeast winning and Lincoln Northwest in third. 

For the Discoverers girls, Mary Faltys earned first in the 200 IM and the 100 breaststroke.  The CHS boys’ Connor Zobel-Stevens placed first in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly.
