Lakeview Volleyball Goes 4-1 in Conference Tourney

Lakeview’s volleyball club won all three of its matches Saturday in the Central Conference tournament at Crete.

The Vikings defeated the host Cardinals 25-10, 25-7, topped Lexington 25-18, 25-14 and got by Grand Island Northwest 25-16, 30-32, 25-23. 

Lakeview earned third place in the tourney by going 4-1.  The Vikings’ only loss in the event was last Thursday against Aurora.  The Huskies won the tourney title by defeating York in two sets in the championship. 

Lakeview is now 22-5 and will host a triangular against Bishop Neumann and Omaha Concordia tomorrow night.
