Lakeview to Host Fairbury in Volleyball District Final

Lakeview’s volleyball club will host Fairbury in a district final Saturday. 

The fourth-seeded Vikings meet the number 13 seed Jeffs with a trip to next week’s state tournament on the line.  First serve at Lakeview High is set for 1:30 Saturday afternoon and you can hear the action on KLIR 101. 

In other district finals Saturday that were set today, Clarkson/Leigh meets Thayer Central in Clarkson at 3 p.m., Howells-Dodge faces Heartland in Shelby at noon, Nebraska Christian battles Creighton in Albion at 6 p.m., Humphrey St. Francis faces Sioux County in Thedford at 2 p.m. and High Plains Community takes on Stuart in Elkhorn Valley at 2 p.m.
