The Bank of the Valley Lakeview Seniors wrapped up a divisional title and secured a first round bye in their league tournament last night.  Lakeview beat West Point 10-0 at Pawnee Park Field. 

Jacob Sjuts tossed a five-inning, one-hitter.  He allowed two walks and struck out 12 batters.  Bank of the Valley iced the win with a six-run fourth inning, which featured a grand slam by Cooper Tessendorf.  The Lakeview Seniors are 9-0 and are South Division champions in the Ralph Bishop League.  They’ll have a first round bye when the league tourney opens this Saturday. 

Also Monday, the Owens Wealth Advisors Lakeview Junior Reds got by West Point 8-6.  The third straight win for the Lakeview Juniors upped their record to 9-5.
