Lakeview Seniors to Battle Wayne for Trip to State Tourney

The Bank of the Valley Lakeview Seniors will meet Wayne today for the championship of their area tournament. 

Wayne improved to 2-1 in the B5 area tourney with a 4-3 victory over Pierce last night.  Lakeview, which was idle last night, is 2-0 heading into today’s 4 p.m. title tilt at Wayne. 

The host team needs to defeat Lakeview twice today to advance to the Class B state tournament at Crete.
