Lakeview Seniors Shaded While Juniors Win Big

The Bank of the Valley Lakeview Seniors were edged 11-10 at Oakland-Craig last night. 

Lakeview scored six runs in the top of the sixth to take a 9-6 lead, but the home club tied the game with three runs in the home half of that inning.  Bank of the Valley scored once in the top of the seventh, but Oakland-Craig plated two runs in their last at bat for the walk-off win. 

Lakeview is 3-2 and is off until hosting Arlington next Friday in a doubleheader. 

The Lakeview Juniors won 10-0 in five innings at Hooper-Scribner last night.  Luke Wellman had three hits, three RBI and a run, while Kayden Epley had three hits, three runs and one RBI.  Bank of the Valley pitcher Karstan Killham tossed a one-hit shutout, walking four and racking up 12 strikeouts. 

The Juniors, now 3-1, welcome Pierce to Pawnee Park Friday for a 7 p.m. game.
