Lakeview Seniors Rout Oakland-Craig in League Tourney

The Bank of the Valley Lakeview Seniors have advanced to the semifinals of the Ralph Bishop League tournament. 

Lakeview downed Oakland-Craig 11-1 in five innings last night at Pawnee Park Field.  Adam Van Cleave went 3-for-3 with an RBI and two runs in a balanced Lakeview attack.  Sam Kwapnioski, Brendan Sloup, Eli Osten and Kolby Blaser collected two hits apiece, with Kawpnioski driving in three runs.  On the mound, Jordan Kracl, Cooper Tessendorf and Kwapnioski combined to limit the visitors to three hits. 

Bank of the Valley is now 15-0.  Lakeview will visit Pender on Friday for a 7 p.m. semifinal. 

The tournament championship and third place game are set for Saturday at West Point.
