Lakeview Seniors Earn Top Seed in Area Tournament

The Bank of the Valley Lakeview Seniors have earned the number-1 seed in the B5 area tourney at Wayne. 

Lakeview has a bye in Friday’s opening round and will play Saturday at 4 p.m. against the winner of Friday’s contest between number-4 O’Neill and fifth-seeded Stanton.  In the B3 area tournament at West Point, Albion is the number-5 seed and will meet fourth-seeded Arlington at 2:30 p.m. Friday.  Two area teams will square off in Friday’s opening round of the B4 senior tourney at Wahoo, when top-seeded Central City meets number-8 seed Twin River at 1 p.m. 

Shelby-Osceola-Stromsburg is the number-3 seed in the six-team C4 area tournament at Geneva.  SOS will face number-4 seed Utica-Beaver Crossing at 5 p.m.  North Bend-Morse Bluff is seeded fourth in the C2 senior area tourney at Scribner and will battle 3-seed Hooper-Scribner Friday at 7 p.m.
