Lakeview Seniors 2-0 After Weekend in B5 Area Tournament

The Bank of the Valley Lakeview Seniors are 2-0 and the only unbeaten team left in the B5 area tournament at Pierce.
After a first-round bye on Friday, Lakeview drubbed Pierce 13-2 in six innings on Saturday. Sam Kwapnioski went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs, while Turner Halvorsen drove in two runs and scored three.
On Sunday, Bank of the Valley topped Wayne 6-3. Lakeview pitchers Jordan Kracl, Cooper Tessendorf and Eli Osten combined to allow just two hits.
Bank of the Valley is 19-1 on the year and is set to face Albion, which is 1-1 in the tourney, tonight at 8 p.m.
