Lakeview, Scotus Track Teams Results in Central City

The track teams from Lakeview and Scotus were among eight schools competing in Friday’s Central City Invite. 

In the girls meet, the Shamrocks Kyra Bowen took first place in the long jump, while the Vikings Erinn Briggs won a gold medal in the discus. In boys action, Lakeview’s Turner Halvorsen was first in the 800 meter run and his Vikings teammate Landon Ternus was tops in the shot put. 

In the girls team standings, Lakeview was fifth and Scotus was sixth.  In the boys standings, the Vikings took fourth and the Shamrocks finished seventh.
