Lakeview, Scotus Track Results From Boone Central Invite

The track and field teams from Lakeview and Scotus competed in the Boone Central Invitational yesterday.
The Vikings captured five gold medals. Blake Barcel won the girls’ 200 and 400 meter dashes, helping Lakeview finish fourth out of eight teams. The Lakeview boys placed third as three Vikings won gold medals – Adam Van Cleave in the 200-meter dash, Landon Ternus in the shot put and Eli Osten in discus.
Grace Mustard earned the lone gold medal for Scotus by winning the 100-meter hurdles. The Shamrocks girls finished fifth, while the boys were eighth.
