Lakeview, Scotus Meet Monday in Boys C1-6 Subdistrict
Boys basketball rivals Lakeview and Scotus will meet next Monday in the first game of the C1-6 subdistrict tournament in Leigh.
In the brackets released by the NSAA yesterday, the Vikings are seeded fourth and will play the fifth-seeded Shamrocks Monday at 7 p.m. The winner will advance to the semifinals Tuesday at 6 p.m. against top-seeded Clarkson/Leigh. In that night’s second semifinal, North Bend Central faces Logan View-Scribner Snyder. The subdistrict final is set for next Thursday at 7 p.m. All four games will be broadcast on KLIR 101.
The boys C2-8 subdistrict tournament at Cross County will be broadcast on KZ-100, while next week’s D1-3 tourney will be carried on 93.5 The Hawk. For matchups and game times of those two subdistricts, go to mycentralnebraska.com and click on the sports broadcast schedule.
