Lakeview, Scotus Gold Medal Winners at Boone Central Invite

The Lakeview and Scotus track and field teams competed in the Boone Central Invite yesterday.
In the boys meet, the Shamrocks Owen Lindhorst won a gold medal in the 400 meter dash, the Vikings Turner Halvorsen was first in the 800 meter run, and the Scotus 1600 meter relay team finished first. In the boys team standings, Lakeview was third and Scotus placed fifth.
Blake Barcel won the girls 200 meter dash, while her Vikings teammate Erinn Briggs was first in the discus. Lakeview took fourth and Scotus was sixth in the girls team standings.
