Lakeview-Scotus: Frenzen, Linder Compliment Each Other’s Teams

Lakeview meets cross-town rival Scotus tonight at Pawnee Park’s Memorial Stadium.

Vikings head coach Kurt Frenzen says the Shamrocks have some outstanding players.  “Jack Faust, Trenton Cielocha, Henry Ramaekers – those guys in the backfield do a tremendous job and they’re offensive line gets better and better each week,” Frenzen said.  He added the same names stand out on defense, adding that he’s “really impressed” with nose guard Spencer Wittwer.

Asked for his thoughts on the Vikings, Scotus head coach Tyler Linder said: “Lakeview’s Lakeview.  They’re always going to be physical, they’re extremely well-coached. And they’ve got momentum.”  Linder said the Shamrocks will have to match the Vikings intensity.

Tonight’s kickoff is at 7 p.m.  You can hear the game on KLIR 101.
