Lakeview Roundball Teams Sweep David City

The Lakeview boys’ basketball squad snapped a three-game losing streak with a 60-40 home win over David City on Saturday. 

Kienan Prorok scored 18 points, while Thunder Pilakowski had 15 points and both players had seven rebounds for the Vikings.  With the win, Lakeview improved to 2-4.

Meantime, the Lady Vikes won a defensive battle over the Scouts, 29-24. The Lakeview girls’ second straight victory also hiked their record to 2-4. 

Both Lakeview clubs will play in the Columbus Holiday Tournament Friday and Saturday on KLIR 101.

The David City boys slipped to 0-5 and the girls fell to 2-4.

The Scouts will host the David City Holiday Tournament on 93.5 The Hawk, beginning on Friday.
