Lakeview Meets Pierce in Rematch for C1 Football Title

The Lakeview football team will make its first-ever trip to Memorial Stadium today trying to win its first state title. 

The Vikings were Class B runner-ups in 1990, before the championship games were played in Lincoln.  Today, in the C1 title contest, Lakeview has a rematch against Pierce.  On September 3rd in Pierce, the Bluejays prevailed 28-27 when the Vikings’ two-point conversion try in the final seconds failed.  Both teams are now 10-2.
