Lakeview Legion Teams Win, Columbus Juniors Sweep DH

The Bank of the Valley Lakeview Seniors continued rolling with a 10-2 victory at Hooper-Scribner last night.

Kolby Blaser went 2-for-3 with three RBI and scored two runs.   Lakeview is 5-0 on the season and the Seniors have outscored those five opponents by a combined score of 58-9.

Earlier, Landon Ternus and Logan Salak combined on a five-inning no-hitter, leading the Owens Wealth Advisors Lakeview Junior Reds to a 10-0 triumph.  It was the third straight win for the Junior Reds, who improved to 4-1. 

And the Columbus United Federal Credit Union Junior Blues swept a home doubleheader from Elkhorn Mount Michael.  The Junior Blues won the opener 14-7 and took the nightcap 10-3.  The Columbus Juniors are 4-5 and have won four in a row.
